A few weeks ago this month, Taiwan was struck by a massive earthquake. In this class, the teacher, Ian, guided students through discussions on the current news and the AI earthquake warning technology. Students also expressed their thoughts on the possible collective rebuilding efforts for earthquake recovery as well as financial and tourism losses. We anticipate that the following rebuilding projects can help victims and survivors in earthquake-stricken areas. Through today’s class, we hope students develop a compassionate mindset through empathy.
